Bossa Studios is now looking for a Head of Analytics.

You will be responsible for the end to end process of managing Bossa’s game analytics - this position will play a pivotal role in ensuring several titles' longevity and commercial success.. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, to drive the information gathering in-game, to make sense of it and create recommendations based on findings and drive the desired behaviours from players. You will manage a team of data analysts.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Defining and implementing the right analytics to enable the extraction of actionable insights from the data
  • Create and constantly evolve analyses based on hypotheses crafted with the development and commercial teams
  • Evaluate and quantify the effect of ongoing changes to the game through data analysis and statistical methods
  • Inputting directly into the development roadmap with recommendations supported by data
  • Defining and managing reporting to key stakeholders; communicating insights through internal reports, presentations and dashboards
  • Performing ad-hoc analyses on-demand as issues arise

    REQUIREMENTS

  • SQL
  • Python
  • In-depth knowledge of video games and of core gamers
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Good communication, organisation and presentation skills
  • BS in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or economics or equivalent experience
  •  

    Desired skills

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Modelling experience, e.g. predictive modelling, segmentation, etc
  • Experience with dashboarding tools

    • Annual Holiday Allowance - our holiday year runs from 1st January- 31st December. We offer all employees a starting holiday allowance of 22 days + UK bank holidays. This allowance will increase by one day after every year up to a maximum of 25 days.

We then take out a repayment from your net salary on monthly basis which can either be spread over 10 months or 12 months.
    • Profit Share Scheme – The profit share scheme is an incentive plan introduced by Bossa that provides direct payments to its employees depending on Bossa's profitability following the release of a game.
    • Cyclescheme - The Cyclescheme allows you to get up to £1,000 worth of bike and accessories through Bossa. You then pay a monthly ‘salary sacrifice’ to effectively 'hire' the bike and kit, over a 12 month period.
