As the Global Head of Trust and Safety, you will be responsible for building and scaling a global organization tasked with enhancing trust within the Lime community and ensuring the safety of Lime’s users. You will be the primary advocate and owner of safety policies, compliance, incident response protocols, product improvements, and many more trust and safety-related mission-critical functions. You will develop a multi-year trust and safety vision for Lime while working closely with stakeholders to foster safety in everything we do here at Lime.

What You'll Do

    • Build, scale, and lead a global team of passionate Trust and Safety advocates while providing strong and visionary leadership to your team and internal partners
    • Define a multi-year strategy for Lime's Trust & Safety organization with the goal of optimizing the safety of Lime’s platform and mitigating legal, brand and regulatory risk
    • Set and communicate team goals, strategy, tactics, and behaviors required to achieve operational goals and KPIs
    • Partner with global operations, support, legal, and product teams to define, launch and execute strategic and operational initiatives aimed at providing the world’s safest and most trusted multi-modal transportation platform
    • Directly manage global strategic initiatives and coordinate across all stakeholders (internal and external) as needed to ensure the right execution, communication, and resources are in place to deliver key milestones
    • Be the trusted advisor for leadership on key business and operational initiatives primarily related to how we improve Trust & Safety and our overall user and support experience
    • Foster a team culture of trust, commitment, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization
    • Take a data-driven approach to decision making while being open to experimentation, turning new ideas into processes and plans that we can scale globally

About You

    • 10+ years experience, with 5+ years in a role overseeing trust & safety in high-growth technology companies
    • 5+ years of people management experience, including managing leaders and managing remotely across multiple regions
    • Proven track record of attracting exceptional talent and scaling global organizations
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and high technical aptitude with the ability to engage internal and external customers
    • Deep understanding of sound risk management tactics and strategies with the ability to implement quickly
    • Ability to project manage across decentralized teams with an emphasis on prioritization and multitasking; ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment
    • Gravitates to leveraging dating to inform and support critical decisions and establish operational and success KPIs
    • Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills
    • Highly motivated self-starter with an eagerness to learn and grow
    • Ability to foster collaboration and facilitate teamwork
    • Passion for serving Lime’s users and enabling our mission and products.
