The Lime General Manager is a critical strategic leader for Lime. You will be responsible for overall market leadership and growth. Our General Managers are strategic, big-picture individuals who are accountable for their own P&L and team. This includes not only financial management but also team leadership across functions (including partnerships, operations and local promotions).
A great Lime GM will not only ensure operational excellence but will also be the finger on the local market pulse, identifying new opportunities for growth as well as building and maintaining partnerships. Most of all, the city GM is able to adapt to changing environments quickly.

What You'll Do

    • You will act as the CEO of your market, leading localized end-to-end strategy and implementation of operations, marketing, recruiting, business development, PR, policy, communications, and much more with the full support of Headquarters in San Francisco
    • Own your market P&L and be responsible for ensuring we are getting the most out of our money
    • Team building & management: You are responsible for overall team success, including finding teammates, managing, and helping the team grow. You know how to bring out the best in people, and are always looking for great new team members. You create and nurture a team-first, growth-oriented organization
    • People first: You’ll have a focus on building a first class experience for your team. This will include identifying areas for operational improvement along with identifying new opportunities to reach potential candidates and to grow relationships with existing members
    • Planning, executing and meeting quarterly goals on key business metrics
    • Partnership development: You’ll develop and enrich our partnerships with local governments, businesses, and NGOs
    • Beyond just operating our existing network, you will be responsible for identifying and executing upon regional growth opportunities
    • Responsible for recruiting and growing local team

About You

    • B.A/B.S, MBA is a plus
    • 5+ years of success in leading operations, logistics in technology/retail-management/sales, ideally in a startup or other fast-changing environment
    • Analytical thinking, data-driven mentality and strong business judgment
    • Able to roll up your sleeves and analyze the data and pull important insights for your team
    • Excellent interpersonal skills: Able to build and manage strong relationships with their team, colleagues across many different functions, and external partners
    • Entrepreneurship mentality
    • A self-starter and leader that assumes the risks and rewards of running an innovative sustainable operation
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to communicate and listen effectively with great written, verbal and presentation skills
    • Leadership by example: Able to motivate, inspire and create an inclusive and positive work environment for all
    • Passionate about the overall goals of bike share and sustainable transportation
