About this Job
The R&D Research Associate (Cell Line Development) will be responsible for setting up and running experiments to develop, characterize, and QC cell lines under the direction of team leadership. The R&D Research Associate will also aid in the analysis and interpret data and provide input for future experiments.

Duties Include

    • Animal cell/tissue culture techniques including thawing, subculturing, freezing, and single-cell cloning
    • Set up and execute experiments-done independently or with guidance from team/project lead for complex experiments 
    • Proficient data collection, monitoring, and recordation. Take an active role in determining the next steps alongside the project team/lead 
    • Works across traditional and high throughput cell culture platforms at multiple scales
    • Routine cell line characterization with molecular and immunology tools.
    • Maintenance of a safe, clean & organized working environment

About You

      • BS/BA/MS in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering or closely related science with 2+ years of animal cell culture experience 
      • Working knowledge and hands-on experience of cell culture processes with superb aseptic technique
      • Hands-on experience on extracting genomic DNA, PCR genotyping, and PCR sequencing analysis
      • Ability and willingness to follow experimental and standard operating procedures
      • Detail-oriented and organized laboratory notebook keeping of experimental designs and results
      • Fosters a team environment by collaborating scientifically with team members 
      • When necessary, willing and able to work outside of business hours
