Do you want to truly feel the impact of your contribution in moving a company’s growth to the next level? Do you understand the importance and differentiating factor of awesome customer support in a B2B environment? If you’d love to help businesses solve an overly complex and old-school way of talking to their customers, then keep reading! This is no ordinary job description.
In a highly competitive industry that’s due to grow by another 50% in 2020, excellent customer support is what helps us stand out. Being on the front-line surprising our customers with super-fast responses in less than 30 minutes, truly understanding their use case and anticipating challenges & opportunities that aren’t even on our customer’s radar, gives you a genuine rush and something to brag about. And having you in our team excites us a lot too!
You have a curious mind that loves puzzles, whether that entails technical troubleshooting and debugging of API calls, or making our Product offering fit the customer’s needs, whilst navigating around an ever-changing global telco landscape. You’re tenacious in understanding the ins and outs of the cases you handle, while you’re also getting stuff done with stakeholders to solve that one tricky issue for your customer. You are comfortable stepping outside of your comfort zone to learn something new and have a good dose of initiative and opinion to make your own decisions (and in turn help us make good ones too.) Striving for the highest customer satisfaction comes naturally to you and being a part of a global team that shares a customer-first mindset only motivates you more. With this mentality, you are set to become a cornerstone of maintaining the MessageBird culture.
In return, you’ll gain access to one of the most fun, open, and ambitious groups of people working in Amsterdam. We push each other to be our absolute best, and are the kind of company that will make you feel happy getting out of bed to come to work every morning.
You are the voice of the company, and interact with our customers in a friendly, professional and personal way.
You have a ‘get stuff done’ mentality.

You are motivated as well as a motivator!
You can identify where information is missing and know how to get it
You have technical aptitude and can relay more complex technical concepts in simplified terms
You speak fluent (native spoken and written) English and any second core language (NL/FR/ES/DE).
Any third core language (FR/ES/DE) is a pré.
