Lime is a smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters. Lime aims to revolutionize mobility in cities by empowering residents with cleaner, more efficient, and affordable transportation options that improve urban sustainability. 
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to play an instrumental role in leading Lime’s social strategy. Given the rapid growth of the business, we want this person to ensure that Lime is synonymous with responsible civic partnerships, environmental sustainability, and a sense of mobility freedom. We’re seeking a creative individual with a strong point of view and experience in shaping strong narratives and engagement plans in support of core business priorities.

What You'll Do

    • Develop, implement and manage Lime’s social media strategy to amplify the brand narrative and generate new traffic across all of the company’s platforms
    • Plan and maintain a social content calendar for Youtube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and any relevant networks
    • Define the most important social media KPIs
    • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner 
    • Manage and oversee content and work closely with designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
    • Measure the success of all social media campaigns 
    • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
    • Collaborate with other teams, including communications, government affairs, human resources, and operations to ensure the strategy is reflective of objectives across the organization and uphold the brand consistently 
    • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
    • Understanding of best practices to support localized content, channels and teams
    • Communicate with industry professionals, media and influencers via social media to create a strong network
    • Adhere to rules and regulation

About You

    • 4+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
    • Social media strategist using social channels for brand awareness and impressions
    • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
    • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
    • Good understanding of social media KPIs
    • Excellent writing skills and ability to deliver creative content 
    • Excellent organizational skills plus the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under strict deadlines
    • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
    • Team player
    • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
    • Bachelor or Diploma preferably in a relevant field
    • Interest in urban mobility and transportation alternatives
    • Demonstrated ability to engage various communities and audiences via social media
