Senior Manager, Partnerships - LATAM at Scandit

As our Senior Manager, Partnerships - LATAM, you will be responsible for recruiting and managing relationships with Scandit partners across the territory.  This includes relationships with the local offices of our strategic co-selling mobile device partners, including Samsung and Apple, as well as their partner ecosystem of resellers, distributors, and carrier partners to drive awareness and generate new sales opportunities that align with the Scandit named account strategy. 

In addition, the role will further build and manage key relationships with the local offices of our key ISV and SI partners, including our relationships with SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce (and other regional or vertical ISV partners), and develop regional relationships with firms like Neoris, TOTVS, Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, IBM, etc. 

This role requires a person who is proficient in managing multiple types of strategic partnerships, versus being vertically focused on a particular partnership type.  In this role, you will work closely with global partner directors, peer partner managers, sales teams, marketing, and product management to coordinate activities to support existing partners and actively recruit new partners to support our rapid growth

What You Will Do

  • Achieve regional partner goals by becoming an evangelist within partner organizations across the LATAM region, providing a deep understanding of market dynamics and Scandit’s solutions to create win-win partnership scenarios
  • Leverage your existing network to broaden Scandit’s relationships with key partners and device manufacturers in LATAM and other assigned regions
  • Actively prospect and recruit new regional partners, including system integrators, ISVs and resellers to Scandit’s partner program
  • Become an expert on Scandit solutions with the ability to comfortably pitch and provide training to partners
  • Support and collaborate with sales team on partner-driven opportunities, and leverage partners for custom development
  • Work closely with Scandit’s marketing team to create relevant collateral and co-marketing materials for partners as well as coordinate joint customer-facing events
  • Provide feedback to Scandit’s product team based on conversations with partners, and provide support for product-led technology partnerships
  • Track all activities in Salesforce, providing feedback and reporting to our VP of Partnerships & Alliances

 

Who You Are 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
  • 8+ years experience in partner and channel management, preferably covering a wide partnership ecosystem such as ISV, SI, Device Manufacturers, Channel and Resellers  
  • Experience working with B2B mobile or SaaS solutions required, with experience working directly with sales and marketing teams preferred
  • Experience working in Scandit’s primary target industries of Retail, Logistics and Manufacturing, additional experience in the industry is a plus
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, key players, terminology and overall economics of the marketplace
  • Ability to publicly represent Scandit with internal and external stakeholders, and at industry events and seminars
  • Reliable, structured self-starter with strong analytical skills
  • Must have fluent Spanish and excellent English; additional language skills including Portuguese a plus
