Having recently raised our Series B investment led by Lakestar, Streetbees’ partners with world leading brands across the FMCG, Media and Entertainment, Retail & Insurance sectors and our clients include Unilever, PepsiCo, Sony Pictures, Carlsberg, Santander, Ikea, Vodafone and L’Oreal.

We’re currently looking for an experienced hands-on QA Engineer to help define, implement and grow our testing function across our AI and mobile systems. This will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment with a high caliber team to continuously develop new products/features.

We look for people with a natural problem-solving mindset, strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well within a team environment and exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are vital.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on QA analyst work (test cases, acceptance criteria, functional, regression, smoke testing etc), especially for the most important or most complex deliveries
• Understand specifications, requirements and design documentation in order to draw up test scenarios then create test documentation and communicate the status on these effectively with the teams
• Coaching the development and product management teams, and the key super users of QA
• Leading investigation, analysing and reporting of defects, collaborating with and drawing on assistance from members of the QA team, along with dev and product teams as needed
• Define and execute test plans to ensure the application is functionally fit for purpose. Advising the tech and product leadership on the estimated risk profile of releases, migrations and cutovers
• Directly and with others, maintaining test environments and the test data they include
• Managing and reporting test results for manual and automated tests
• Participating in team building and driving QA efforts towards continuous process improvement.

• 2-5 years relevant experience in QA
• A strong background in manual testing techniques
• Experience in creating and maintaining functional and regression test packs across web and mobile applications
• Experience in testing native mobile apps both iOS and Android
• A strong background in frontend, backend and API testing
• Experience in working with and testing REST/GraphQL APIs
• Good knowledge around APIs and databases to analyse issues
• Experience in data-focussed testing
• Understanding of various data formats such as CSV, XML, JSON
• Solid SQL knowledge and technical understanding
• Experience in test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center
• Good understanding of at least one programming language such as Java, Javascript , Ruby
• Experience in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress would be advantageous
• Good understanding and experience in exploratory testing
• Capable / Willing to go outside comfort zone to discover source of issues
• Must have passion for Quality Assurance and always thinking ‘outside of the box’ on how they can challenge a developer’s code
• Ability to work in a demanding environment
• Be proactive, organised, flexible and creative
• A university degree (ideally computing related discipline)
