We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the local finance function. You will research and analyze financial information to help the company make well informed decisions and drive expansion across the country. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company, as well as possible risks and investments. To be successful at this role, you will have broad knowledge of all accounting, financial and business principles. Responsibilities

 

  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc), taking into account company goals for an uptodate and transparent overview at all times
  • Provide detailed and timely reports on the financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Work as a financial advisor to the country team and provide recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • Work with our accountants to ensure the correct recording of all financial information
  • Ensure compliance with local financial reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee cash management responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Group finance team in the UK to ensure alignment at all times
  • Liaise with the outsourced payroll function to ensure payroll runs smoothly
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that positively impact the function

Requirements

  • Proven commercial finance experience in a senior position
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
  • A chartered accountant or country equivalent
  • BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field
