About the Role

You'll be joining Y42’s Growth Marketing team as a Social Media Working Student. As part of the team, you'll be working directly with the Content Marketing Manager on content distribution strategies for the different social media channels Y42 is active on. And maybe even launch new channels, the possibilities are endless!

You'll also be coming up with fresh ideas and writing your own posts for the different channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) while ensuring the steady growth and maintenance of the same. As our Social Media Working Student, these are the things you will do:

  • Develop a social media strategy together with the Content Marketing Manager; 
  • Adapt content pieces (blog posts, guides, infographics, videos) to our different social media platforms; 
  • Write your own social media post and come up with their respective designs (which you then have to request from the team's designer); 
  • Prepare, develop and publish a monthly social media content plan together with the Content
    Marketing Manager; 
  • Learn everything there is to learn about our tool and then use it yourself to build your own social
    media performance reports.

About you

What we're looking for:

  • Are a student in a bachelor or master’s program, preferably in the field of Marketing or
    Communications; 
  • Have any previous professional experience running social media channels and producing. B2B
    social media experience is a plus; 
  • Are collaborative, communicative, and resourceful — a person who can work both independently
    and as part of a team; 
  • Have good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; 
  • Are both highly analytical and creative; 
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset and can quickly structure complex topics; 
  • Are highly organized and can manage several projects and tasks simultaneously; 
  • Are able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English. German is a
    plus; 
  • Are an individual with a bias for action and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is
    needed to ensure the company succeeds in its goals.
