Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Enrollment Marketing to join our Growth Marketing team at Hinge Health. In this role, you will support our Growth department by balancing leadership with hands-on strategy, managing a team of direct reports while also overseeing a personal book of business of high-priority clients.

As a strategic marketer, you will handle complex client requirements, serve as the client-facing marketing expert for your accounts, and act as a subject matter expert within the Enrollment Marketing (EM) team. This position is crucial in helping us drive marketing efficiency and mentor team members, contributing to the overall success of the company. You will report to the Senior Director, Enrollment Marketing and work closely with cross-functional teams, including Client Success Managers, Acquisition Marketing, B2B Sales teams and others. This role requires a strong balance of strategic planning, marketing operational execution, and people leadership in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.

What You'll Accomplish

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage, train, and mentor a team of 2–5 direct reports, providing ongoing guidance to support their professional growth.

  • Oversee the functional areas of your direct reports, aligning their priorities with business needs. This includes significant relationship cultivation and collaboration with assigned Client Success teams (pods).

  • Drive and contribute to a variety of EM-focused and cross-functional prioritized initiatives beyond normal day-to-day responsibilities.

  • Foster and maintain the unique and supportive culture of the Enrollment Marketing team. This includes acting as part of the 5-person EM Leadership team.

  • Lead team members through organizational change, evolving priorities, and shifting business needs with clarity and empathy.

  • Participate in hiring panels for cross-functional roles when requested.

Strategic Client Management:

  • Autonomously manage a Book of Business consisting of Tier 1–2 clients with 18,000+ eligible lives.

  • Develop and implement both standard and custom marketing plans tailored to client needs.

  • Handle complex client requirements, such as custom brand needs, payor partner specifics, and Line of Business (LOB) complexities.

  • Serve as the Marketing Subject Matter Expert (SME) for your assigned clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Demonstrate expert capabilities in client presentation and accountability.

Marketing Strategy & Optimization:

  • Independently monitor marketing performance to identify triage methodologies and patterns across your book of business.

  • Collaborate with other enrollment marketers to drive bespoke pilots and experimentation.

  • Contribute to larger, scaled experimentation driven by the Acquisition Marketing team across the full client base.

  • Own scaled initiatives aimed at driving marketing efficiency across the entire department.

  • Analyze and use data to make business decisions and translate those decisions into scalable playbooks or best practices.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and operating models to scale the Enrollment Marketing role.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence:

  • Actively drive cross-functional alignment to remove barriers and attract necessary support for your initiatives.

  • Serve as a driver on medium-complexity initiatives.

  • Contribute to highly complex cross-functional planning teams.

  • Network with key contacts outside your immediate area to strengthen organizational relationships.

  • Resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways, driving change that impacts your team and the broader Enrollment Marketing department.

  • Proven experience managing a client Book of Business, acting as a strategic partner for medium to large clients (18k+ eligible lives) or Enterprise-level accounts.

  • Demonstrated ability to strategize and implement both standard and out-of-the-box marketing plans.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to external clients and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of marketing efficiency and efficacy, with a track record of identifying opportunities and driving change autonomously.

  • Strong experience analyzing data to drive business decisions and translating those decisions into scaled playbooks for large teams.

  • Ability to act as a tool administrator, trainer, or subject matter expert for specific marketing technologies or initiatives.

  • Experience participating in hiring panels and partnering with talent acquisition teams.

  • Proven ability to network with key contacts outside of your immediate area of expertise to strengthen organizational relationships.
