Job Description

About the Role

Hinge Health is seeking a Health Plan Partnerships Manager to own and grow strategic relationships with health plan partners, delivering measurable value for health plans, their clients, and their members. This role sits at the intersection of relationship management, commercial growth, strategy, and cross-functional execution—serving as both a trusted advisor to external partners and a strong internal advocate for partner priorities.

As a core member of the account management team, the Health Plan Partnerships Manager partners closely with the Health Services Director to develop and execute partnership strategies that drive new product adoption, pipeline development, and long-term growth. Acting as the strategic quarterback for assigned partnerships, the Manager aligns internal stakeholders across sales, clinical, product, and operations to ensure coordinated execution and operational excellence.

In practice, this role involves regular engagement with senior health plan stakeholders and internal teams; contributing to partnership strategy materials, executive business reviews, and growth planning; supporting pipeline development and close activities across assigned channels; and enabling strong collaboration between health plan account executives and Hinge Health’s regional sales teams. The Manager ensures meetings are purposeful and well-prepared, follow-through is clear and timely, and all communications reflect Hinge Health’s strategic priorities and commitment to high-impact partnership execution.

What You'll Accomplish

  • Own and lead a portfolio of health plan partnerships, serving as the primary point of contact and strategic quarterback responsible for day-to-day execution, alignment, and long-term success.

  • Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with health plan stakeholders across sales, product, marketing, and clinical teams, positioning the company as a strategic partner rather than a vendor.

  • Drive partnership initiatives forward by facilitating recurring meetings, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and proactively securing the inputs needed to advance priorities and meet partnership goals.

  • Manage and resolve partner inquiries with urgency and precision, delivering timely, accurate responses while consistently going above and beyond to strengthen relationships with both partner contacts and internal stakeholders.

  • Serve as the partnership subject-matter expert internally, demonstrating fluency in each partner’s organizational structure, strategic priorities, and key friction points; proactively disseminate critical updates and communications across internal teams.

  • Lead sales enablement efforts by supporting internal commercial teams with partner-specific insights, materials, and guidance that improve readiness and execution.

  • Independently conduct product overviews and respond to partner questions, demonstrating strong command of the product, value proposition, and use cases across lines of business.

  • Leverage Salesforce and internal tools to support effective planning, execution, forecasting, and reporting of partnership and growth activities.

  • Inform and shape partner strategy, using on-the-ground insights to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging threats; collaborate closely with the Director to develop quarterly and annual partnership plans aligned to OKRs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in health plan partnerships, payer strategy, digital health, healthcare consulting, or a related field.

  • Deep understanding of U.S. health plan structures, including ASO vs. Fully Insured models, Medicare Advantage, and other lines of business.

  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships, building credibility and trust as a strategic thought partner with both external partners and internal teams.

  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, effectively coordinating across sales, clinical, product, operations, and leadership.

  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and confidently to audiences at all levels of an organization.

  • Strong project management skills, capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously from discovery through execution, meeting timelines and defined success criteria.

  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, able to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information into clear insights, recommendations, and partner-ready narratives.

  • Ability to balance detail-oriented execution with big-picture strategic thinking, aligning day-to-day work with broader partnership and company goals.

  • Excellent prioritization skills, able to navigate competing demands while maintaining high standards of quality and follow-through.

  • Self-starter with strong ownership mentality, comfortable working independently with minimal oversight and delivering polished, error-free work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with or within Blue Cross Blue Shield plans or national payers

  • Background in digital health, virtual care, MSK, behavioral health, or population health

  • Familiarity with claims analysis, ROI modeling, or value-based care frameworks

  • Experience supporting product launches or line-of-business expansions
