The Opportunity

Join the Finance team that powers the engine of Hinge Health. As we transform how millions of people access MSK care, you will play a critical role in ensuring our 1,500+ employees across the US and Canada are supported accurately and on time. You won't just process numbers; you will serve as a trusted partner to our cross-functional teams, helping us scale our payroll operations in a high-growth, mission-driven environment.

What You'll Accomplish

  • In your first 3 months: You will master our Workday and ADP systems, taking ownership of semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll processing for our US and Canadian entities. You will build trusted relationships with our People, Benefits, and Accounting teams to ensure seamless data flow.

  • In your first 6 months: You will independently manage off-cycle payrolls, 401(k) fundings, and complex payroll exceptions. You will become the first line of defense for employee inquiries, resolving variances with a high degree of accuracy and "customer service" mindset.

  • In your first 12 months: You will play a key role in our year-end processes, including W-2 and tax audit support. You will partner with the Sr. Manager to refine our processes for state registrations and equity compensation, ensuring we remain compliant as we continue to expand.

Who You Are

  • A Detail-Oriented Operator: You have a keen eye for variances and don't stop at "done"—you double-check to ensure "accurate."

  • A Collaborative Problem Solver: You thrive working cross-functionally, communicating complex payroll concepts clearly to partners in HR and Accounting.

  • Resilient & Proactive: You are comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities can shift. You embody our "Learn-it-all" principle by proactively researching tax notices and resolution steps.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables).

  • Strong understanding of taxing authorities and government regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday, ADP, and Empower.

  • Experience processing payroll for a publicly traded company.

  • Basic knowledge of equity compensation (Stock Options, RSUs, ESPP).

  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
