The Opportunity
Hinge Health’s People Business Partner (PBP) team is seeking a strategic and empathetic People Business Partner to drive employee engagement, talent development, and a thriving organizational culture. You will serve as a critical partner to our Operations leadership team, implementing people programs that align with both employee needs and business goals. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a fast-paced, high-performing team, ensuring that our clinical and operational teams are supported to do their best work.
What You'll Accomplish
In your first 3 months: You will build trust with your client group (first-level Operations leaders) and understand their unique business challenges. You will audit current team health metrics and effectively manage day-to-day employee relations cases with guidance.
In your first 6 months: You will drive the execution of key people programs, including performance reviews and engagement surveys, ensuring high completion rates and quality conversations. You will independently resolve complex employee relations issues and partner with the Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to deliver data-backed HR solutions.
In your first year: You will become a strategic advisor for your client group, using data to influence long-term talent planning and organizational design. You will lead cross-functional project management efforts to enhance consistency and efficiency in our people policies, directly contributing to higher retention and engagement scores.

A "Learn-it-all": You proactively stay up-to-date on HR best practices and employment laws. You are constantly looking for ways to improve internal policies and processes to create a better workplace for everyone.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of experience in a People Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
Employee Relations Mastery: Proven experience guiding managers on performance improvement, coaching, disciplinary actions, and conducting investigations.
Operational Excellence: Experience participating in or leading the execution of core people cycles (Performance Reviews, Engagement Surveys, Compensation Planning).
HR Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal/state employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
HR Certification: PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification.
Data Proficiency: Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Lattice) and a strong ability to analyze data to drive insights.
High-Growth Experience: Previous experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or healthcare environment.
Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects independently with limited supervision, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and deadlines are met.
