The Opportunity
Join the team transforming how millions of people access musculoskeletal (MSK) care by building the financial engine that powers our growth. As our Revenue Operations Lead, you will own the performance and visibility of our revenue cycle in a subscription-based digital health model. In this high-impact individual contributor role, you will design the KPI framework that underpins our financial health, ensuring we bill accurately, collect efficiently, and identify risks before they impact the business. If you are a hands-on RCM expert ready to move upstream into analytics, process design, and strategic ownership, this is your opportunity to build a best-in-class operation from the ground up.
What You’ll Accomplish
In your first 3 months: You will audit our current revenue cycle workflows and build trusted relationships with partners in Finance, Billing, and Data. You will document core metric definitions and calculation logic to establish a "single source of truth" for the organization.
In your first 6 months: You will launch a comprehensive RCM KPI framework and recurring dashboards that provide leadership with clear visibility into performance by payer, product, and line of business. You will begin leading structured root-cause analyses to proactively flag and resolve anomalies.
In your first 12 months: You will drive measurable improvements in key financial metrics—such as reducing time-to-cash, improving clean claim rates, or lowering denial rates—directly tied to your analyses. You will act as a subject matter expert, influencing product and tooling roadmaps to support robust measurement and efficient collections.
Who You Are
A Strategic Operator: You don’t just report numbers; you connect RCM metrics to financial outcomes (revenue, margin, cash flow) and help explain variances to leadership.
A Problem Solver: You thrive on digging into large data sets to find the "why" behind performance trends, leading cross-functional investigations to fix root causes rather than just symptoms.
A Cross-Functional Leader: You have a proven ability to drive alignment and decisions across Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams without formal authority.
A Mentor: You embody our "Learn-it-all" principle, informally mentoring teammates in KPI literacy and RCM best practices while maintaining your own high output.
Basic Qualifications
3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Revenue Cycle Management in a healthcare environment (provider, health system, health tech, or digital health).
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining RCM dashboards or KPI reports in Excel/Google Sheets and/or a modern BI tool.
Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with large data sets, reconciling volumes/payments, and validating data integrity.
Working knowledge of core RCM workflows (claim/invoice submission, remittance processing, AR aging, adjustments, write-offs, refunds).
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex operational issues into simple narratives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with subscription-based, capitated, or value-based payment models (e.g., PMPM, bundled pricing, hybrid invoice/claims billing).
Familiarity with standard RCM metrics (AR aging, bad debt, denial coding, revenue leakage).
Hands-on experience with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode, Power BI) for self-serve data exploration.
Experience in a high-growth, fast-changing environment where processes and tools are evolving.
