The Opportunity

Join the team transforming how we deliver musculoskeletal (MSK) care by building the engine that powers our clinical quality. As a Quality Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the Care Quality team, independently driving the protocols and insights that ensure our care is safe, effective, and equitable. In this high-impact role, you will move beyond simple execution to own complex quality workstreams—partnering directly with Product, Clinical, and Member Success leaders to turn data into transformative system improvements. You will be the voice of quality, empowering our teams to deliver the world-class experience our members deserve.

What You'll Accomplish

  • Drive Quality Strategy: You will own and refine quality review protocols and rubrics, ensuring they align with evidence-based standards and scaling them to support new care modalities and rapidly growing teams.

  • Influence Actionable Change: You will analyze complex qualitative and quantitative data to identify systemic gaps, leading cross-functional initiatives with Product and Clinical Operations to close them and improve member outcomes.

  • Deliver Executive-Level Insights: You will architect and present high-level dashboards and reports that not only track performance but identify root causes and strategic opportunities for leadership.

  • Lead Compliance & Improvement: You will independently manage targeted audits and the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process, ensuring robust adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory standards.

  • Innovate with AI: You will pilot and validate AI-enabled quality tools, establishing oversight mechanisms that ensure fairness and consistency while increasing review efficiency.

Who You Are

  • A "Learn-it-all": You constantly seek to understand the "why" behind the data. You don't just find errors; you uncover the upstream processes that caused them and propose solutions.

  • A Trust Builder: You communicate effectively across clinical and non-clinical teams, building strong partnerships that allow you to deliver difficult feedback and drive consensus on quality standards.

  • Resilient & Autonomous: You thrive in ambiguity and can navigate complex problems with minimal guidance. You take ownership of your workstreams, proactively identifying risks and driving them to resolution.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare quality assurance, clinical operations, or a related field (aligned with P3 Career Level expectations)

  • Proven experience leading quality review protocols, audits, or improvement projects in a healthcare or digital health environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets; ability to independently build reports and interpret complex datasets.

  • Deep understanding of HIPAA, healthcare privacy standards, and clinical quality frameworks.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, science, or quality-related field.

  • Experience implementing or managing components of a Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools for quality assurance or process optimization.

  • Previous experience mentoring junior team members or leading peer calibration sessions.

  • Familiarity with HEDIS, URAC, or NCQA accreditation standards.
