What you will do As a Communications Manager, you will strengthen Klarna’s presence across Europe with a focus on the Nordics, particularly Sweden as a key market. You will develop and execute communications initiatives that support product launches, corporate milestones, and regional storytelling, shaping Klarna’s narrative across diverse media landscapes. Working in a fast-paced and high-autonomy environment, you will collaborate closely with product, legal, marketing, and public policy teams to translate complex topics into clear and compelling narratives. You will contribute to high-impact communications across consumer, corporate, and product areas, while continuously improving processes, embracing new tools and technologies, and engaging with senior stakeholders to elevate Klarna’s voice. Who you are • Extensive experience in Nordic and international press, media relations, or corporate communications (5+ years) • Strong understanding of the Swedish media landscape with an established network of contacts • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communications plans in fast-paced and complex environments • Ability to independently drive initiatives while taking full ownership of outcomes • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams • Experience handling crisis communications and reputation management in an international context • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate business strategy into clear external messaging Awesome to have • Experience in fintech, payments, or technology-driven companies • Background in managing communications across multiple international markets • Familiarity with regulatory and public affairs environments • Experience working with AI tools or new technologies to enhance communications impact Please include a CV in English Curious to learn more about Klarna and what it’s like to work here?
