Lime is the largest global shared micromobility business, operating in close to 30 countries across five continents. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered more than one billion rides in cities around the world. Named a 2025 Time 100 Most Influential Company, Lime continues to set the pace for shared micromobility globally, spurring a new generation of clean alternatives to car ownership.

As we scale, we’re building the next generation of global logistics to support our hardware innovation, international fleet operations, and circular supply chain model.Lime is seeking a Sr. Manager, APAC Logistics & Distribution Operations to lead our APAC Logistics and Distribution Operations team, as well as manage inbound supply door to door from our Asia manufacturing sites to all regions.

As the Sr. Manager, APAC Logistics and Distribution, you will be the architect of our APAC logistics and distribution strategy—ensuring our vehicles, parts, batteries, and infrastructure components move seamlessly across the APAC regions and borders to support our growing APAC markets. Additionally, you and your team will manage door to door delivery of all products from our Asia supply base to our EMEA and Americas Distribution Operations. This role is central to scaling our operations, optimizing cost and lead times, and supporting a complex logistics ecosystem. You’ll lead a team of logistics professionals and build a high-performing logistics network that’s as agile and efficient as the vehicles we put on the road. You will also be responsible for Trade Compliance globally at Lime, managing execution as well as acting as a trusted advisor to the supply chain with regard to the global tariff landscape.

This is a remote position within Japan, with a preference for candidates residing in Tokyo or Osaka to maintain effective collaboration across teams.

What You'll Do:

  • APAC Logistics Strategy: Define and lead the logistics roadmap across APAC - supporting product launches, city expansion, and fleet lifecycle management.

  • Establish Distribution Operations within the APAC region

  • Global Inbound Supply Management - manage logistics for all supply from our Asia supply base to all regions (EMEA, Americas, APAC)

  • Outbound Transportation & Fulfillment: Manage APAC outbound logistics for vehicles, components, batteries, and charging infrastructure across air, ocean, road, and rail.

  • 3PL Selection & ongoing Partner Management: Oversee global logistics providers, 3PL warehouses, and last-mile delivery partners; negotiate contracts and implement robust SLAs.

  • Regional Execution & City Support: Ensure logistics operations enable smooth fleet rollouts and support compliance needs across diverse city regulatory environments.

  • Own regional logistics budgets and freight spend across APAC, ensuring cost visibility, financial discipline, and accurate freight billing across logistics providers. Oversee invoice validation and audit processes while identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and operational transparency.

  • Data & Performance Management: Build visibility into logistics flows using TMS and analytics tools; track KPIs (e.g., lead time, delivery reliability, cost per km/unit) and drive continuous improvement.

  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor the globally distributed APAC logistics team with capabilities across freight, compliance, and distribution, fostering a culture of cross-functional collaboration, accountability and speed.

About You:

  • 10+ years of experience in global logistics or supply chain, with 5+years leadership experience.

  • Proven success managing logistics operations in a fast-paced, global hardware or mobility environment (e.g., transportation tech, consumer electronics, e-commerce, or automotive).

  • Deep expertise in international logistics, distribution, 3PL management, and regulatory compliance—including lithium battery shipping and reverse logistics.

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in building or scaling logistics networks in emerging or regulated markets.

  • Strong financial and data acumen—comfortable building and presenting business cases and managing multi-million-dollar logistics budgets.

  • Proficiency with supply chain systems (ERP, TMS, WMS) and logistics analytics. NetSuite experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA or certifications (e.g., CLTD, CSCP) a plus.
