Lime is the largest global shared micromobility business, operating in close to 30 countries across five continents. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered more than one billion rides in cities around the world. Named a 2025 Time 100 Most Influential Company, Lime continues to set the pace for shared micromobility globally, spurring a new generation of clean alternatives to car ownership.
The AI Lab is a new, foundational team within Corporate Technology. We act as the central owners of enterprise GenAI and AI-driven tools. Our mission is to move beyond basic GenAI adoption to deliver specific, high-ROI business use cases, while driving proactive training and continuous enablement across the company. We standardize platforms, governance, and reusable building blocks so teams at Lime can innovate safely, quickly, and effectively.
This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates to reside in Canada to maintain effective collaboration across teams.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the architecture and governance of Lime's enterprise AI ecosystem, developing a secure "Hub-and-Spoke" model for business units to safely deploy AI solutions.
Design and engineer initial high-impact pilot use cases, including tools to accelerate month-end financial close processes and AI engines to parse complex city RFPs.
Drive AI Enablement & Adoption: Design and execute a comprehensive internal training program and enablement strategy to ensure Limers are effectively utilizing approved GenAI tools.
Partner with our Engineering team to maintain secure, air-gapped Isolated Exploration (Sandbox) environments to enable safe experimentation across Lime.
Scale Continued Education: Build and maintain an internal repository of AI best practices, curated prompt libraries, and specialized training modules tailored to different departments.
Measure Impact: Define and programmatically track key adoption and efficiency metrics, proving the ROI of our AI investments through baseline time-to-task comparisons.
Partner closely with Identity & Access Management and Security teams to govern "Agent" access across functional systems and eliminate "shadow AI" risks.
About You:
8+ years of experience in IT Engineering, Systems Integration, or Automation
High proficiency in AI-assisted development (e.g., using LLMs, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to rapidly prototype and deploy lightweight internal tooling, (e.g., Slack Apps, or Chrome Extensions)
Expertise in REST APIs, webhooks, and connecting enterprise systems (like Jira, Zendesk, or Snowflake.
A "governance-first" mindset. You understand how to build secure, scalable frameworks for AI-generated code and enforce data privacy guardrails across the corporate environment.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible training materials, with experience leading technology adoption or enablement programs.
Ability to translate manual, heavy-lifting business workflows into automated, AI-assisted solutions that drive measurable ROI.
