Director of Growth Strategy
Nourish
About Us
About the Role
As the Director of Growth Strategy, you’ll build and lead the team responsible for scaling Nourish’s fastest-growing revenue channel. You’ll set channel targets, design the strategy to hit them, and own the systems and processes that make growth scalable, measurable, and durable.
Reporting to our Head of Growth Strategy, you'll help shape our patient acquisition engine - deciding how fast we grow, how performance is measured, and how we maintain high execution standards as the team scales. This is a unique opportunity to combine big-picture strategy with hands-on execution at a rapidly scaling startup that's transforming healthcare.
If you’re energized by leading teams, building durable systems, working cross-functionally, and owning outcomes end to end—and want to play a pivotal role in scaling a category-defining company—we want to meet you.
This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in-person 3+ days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is located in Flatiron. Occasional travel expected to conferences, events, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and own channel KPIs. Establish the metrics and targets that define success for the channel, and ensure they are consistently tracked and reported on.
- Own expansion strategy and execution. Decide how fast we grow, where we grow, and who we hire—partnering closely with Talent, Corporate Strategy, Sales Leadership, and Enablement to turn strategy into execution.
- Design and operationalize performance systems. Define what strong GTM performance looks like and build the frameworks and systems that reward excellence and address underperformance fairly and consistently.
- Build and lead a high-performing team. Design the team structure needed to support scale; hire and develop that talent.
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You have 6-10 years of experience with a mix of consulting/finance and direct start-up experience.
- You’ve led teams before and are excellent at people management & driving teams to high performance. You’re results-driven and metrics-oriented, and not afraid of ambitious targets.
- You’re a first principles thinker. You enjoy breaking down ambiguous problems and don’t take something for granted just because it’s been done a certain way historically.
- You’re highly analytical with strong structured problem-solving skills; you’re very comfortable with data and can synthesize complex insights into actionable recommendations.
- You are operationally excellent, with strong project management skills and a knack for building systems/processes that scale.
